EIT 1.0.5 contains all changes up to and including those in EIT 1.0.4.

Version 1.0.5-12 includes the following changes since 1.0.4-4:

• NEW: The client is now more intelligent about handling communications with the server. Changes have resulted in significant improvements in data management (helping to prevent duplicate/lost items), as well as speed-ups in transactions.

• NEW: The ExchangeIt! protocol version has been updated and support for the new protocol has been added to the client.

• IMPROVED: Upgrading to this client now preserves the user name and password required to synchronize with the server, as well as the synchronization period (if it had been set by the user, otherwise it sets it to the default).

• IMPROVED: To help avoid client-client collisions on the server, a random delay (a fraction of the client's synchronization period) has been introduced at the startup of each client.

• IMPROVED: Memory consumption has been reduced.

• IMPROVED: The default synchronization period is now 10 minutes.

• FIXED: In some cases, cancelling a sync would result in duplicate items being created on the next sync. This has been fixed.

• FIXED: In some cases, the client was not properly syncing newly created items to the server until a second sync was performed. This has been fixed.

• FIXED: Fixed a problem that resulted in copied items from being deleted on a subsequent sync to the server.
