Connecting your office network to the Internet
Depending on the hardware
platform you deploy Nitix on, Nitix provides you with
a variety of options to connect your office to the Internet.
Nitix supports any of these connection types:
With Nitix, you can
even use more than one Internet connection simultaneously
using DoubleVision
technology. Or, set up your modem to dial automatically
when your main Internet connection fails.
As soon as you connect to the Internet, Nitix
starts sharing the Internet connection with everyone in the office - and
you don't need a proxy server or any special workstation settings. Plus,
Nitix has a built-in auto-configuring
firewall which prevents all unauthorized access to your internal network
from outside.
